Relations between India and Brunei:

In 1984, both India and Brunei established bilateral relations. A tremendous number of Indians migrated to Brunei so that they could work in oil and allied sectors when oil was discovered in this small country in the 1920’s.   • Avoid talking or talk only when it’s necessary, to the people of suspicious and unknown organizations or agencies

  • Avoid giving money or food to monks, clerics or beggars coming to you for it; you should ignore and stay away from them, as they can be thieves or snatchers.
  • Stay away from oily and fried food during your visit, as it may lead to digestive issues.

  • Don’t forget to keep your valid Indian visa in your pocket or purse and show it to officials when asked.
